The Twilight Immortal set release launches on Kickstarter Saturday, July 29th at 10am CT. This set expands Mythik TCG with Norse gods, Three Kingdoms heroes, Japanese Yokai, Aztec gods, Hindu gods, Buddhist legends, and more!

As summer gets closer, Mythik TCG is preparing for monthly remote tournament matches. Players will compete for the new Victory Edition secret card that is only available to remote tournament winners.

Here is a brief summary of what we have been working on this year as we enter Q2 of 2023. We do not yet have a set timeline for the new set release but will keep you updated as development wraps up.

TWILIGHT IMMORTAL Set

• 100+ brand new cards
• Introducing two new core archetypes: Norse gods + Three Kingdoms heroes
• Introducing new mini-archetypes: Hindu gods, Parasites, Buddhist legends, Babylonian creatures
• Expanding previous archetypes: Shadow Princes, Sengoku/Iga, Treacherous beasts, SPQR, and more
• Upgrading card stock and card cuts for the new set
• New holo foil patterns and selective holo art
• More holo cards per box
• Booster box size expanded to 240 cards
• One new Tier V card and a rerelease of Gaia (not Edition Zero)

With all Edition Zero Mythik products manufactured and delivered to our distribution warehouse, the official Mythik release is scheduled for February. Kickstarter orders are currently shipping. Shop preorders will be shipped closer to the release date. We are planning for a live release in Chicago – more details to be announced soon.

In the meantime, Mythik runs virtual battles through the Mythik TCG Tabletop Simulator mod. There will be both casual play events and tournaments with tangible prizes. The Mythik team also hosts a monthly mythology trivia night with up to 40 entrants.

All sets of the first Mythik TCG release completed production the first week of November. All Mythik decks and boxes will ship to our distribution warehouse in the midwestern United States where individual Kickstarter orders will be sorted and shipped out. The remaining Mythik products will remain at the warehouse awaiting the official game release. Preorders will be available on the Mythik shop soon!

After a successful Kickstarter campaign, Mythik TCG will enter full production in October 2022. A limited run of Edition Zero booster boxes and starter decks will be produced and shipped out to Kickstarter backers. The extras will be sold on our shop and in various local game stores.

The Mythik TCG Kickstarter page is now live! It was a wild launch where supporters pledged over $5000 in the first 15 minutes and the entire project was fully funded in 12 hours. We are so grateful to all you amazing people for your interest and support in Mythik!

All cards that have attack or defense stats or mention them in their card powers have a new look! Original prototypes will have attack and defense stats written as ATK and DEF, but now they will be written as symbols of an axe for attack and a shield for defense. Check out the new look below!

We have expanded our first double-release to include over 200 unique cards up from 170! This expansion includes a brand new archetype in addition to the original five major archetypes. You will get to meet the new secret archetype, the Shadow Princes of Hell. This deck is based on the princes of Hell, each standing for a different sin. The Shadow Princes are accompanied by powerful demonic creatures including Leviathan the Dread Serpent and Behemoth the Great Beast. You can get access to the Shadow Princes by joining our Patreon.

Artwork is just being finalized and we are preparing for our first full print run of prototype cards to begin large-scale playtesting. Currently everything is on schedule for a Kickstarter launch in Summer 2022.
